When Richard's leg became swollen, his family took him to the Emergency Room to see what was causing it. The ER doctor determined that Richard had colon cancer and that it was fairly extensive at this point. Richard and his family contacted Kindred at Home to see if anything could be done to improve his condition.
The Kindred at Home coordinated team worked together with the nursing staff to improve Richard’s symptoms in the comfort of his own home.
