“I went to order a drink at Starbucks while I was upset and crying. Nayely, seeing that I was having a difficult time, focused her attention on me, asked if I was okay, and showed such kindness and compassion—even though we didn’t know each other. She made my drink, came around the counter, and gave me a hug when I really needed it. We come to work to care for our patients, but we’re also here to take care of each other. Thank you, Nayely, for being a ray of sunshine on a dark day for me.” 💖

We are incredibly proud to present the prestigious DAISY Award to Eulalia "Eula" Delator, a dedicated nurse from our 4W Cardiology team at Torrance Memorial. Eula’s outstanding care and compassion left a lasting impact on one family, who shared the following heartfelt story:
"Eula’s loving and caring personality really made my mother feel at ease during her hospitalization... She was gentle and that comforting presence that helped my mother adjust to all of it. Eula’s jokes would make my mother chuckle. I truly appreciated Eula so much."
