Morning world!

When I woke up this morning I wasn’t expecting to share my morning with thousands of tiny fish 🐟 🐟 🐟

And I’m pretty sure there was a seal following me underwater based on the movement and the bubbles but I can’t be 💯 certain - I didn’t actually see him but I like to think it was our resident Sammy the Seal 🦭

Paddle followed by obligatory swim - oh my god. Amazing.

I’m heading out for a paddle boarding mini break/holiday in Slovenia with a good friend of mine who hosts trips all over the world.

Due to a last minute cancellation we have a space available on our women only Slovenia SUP trip from 10-14 Sep 2025.

The trip is hosted and organised by the wonderful soul, Edina of Balatonsup fame.

At the moment we are a group of 6 super lovely, fun, adventurous and welcoming women (mostly English with a Welsh, Norwegian and Hungarian mixed in for good measure!) are you our 7th Wonder Woman?

Between us we have a range of SUP abilities from newly introduced to very experienced - this won’t be hardcore paddling holiday, more soaking it all up and enjoying gentle paddling (and other activities) with the option to go harder if so desired.

We don’t all know each other (yet!!) - so you won’t be joining an existing group of friends which can sometimes feel intimidating. I am the connector who has brought the group together - so I’m confident everyone will click beautifully.

If you’re keen but don’t want to come along there is space for 2 people to join us - it’d be same price per person regardless.

The price includes 4 nights and 5 days of paddling with hotel, SUP boards + all SUP kit, local transport, breakfast and some meals and is just £650 (this price excludes international travel/flights). Much cheaper than a lot of other SUP travel operators!!

I met Edina on my SUP Instructor course in 2018 and we have been firm friends ever since. We’ve paddled together in Portugal, Israel and more recently in Norway - she’s a very special and beautiful soul and I can’t wait to experience Slovenia with her in Sep.

Edina has been hosting worldwide paddle trips ever since we qualified together in 2018 and she has been hosting this Slovenia trip since 2019 so she’s super knowledgeable about our location and itinerary!

We’ll also be enjoying hikes, optional zip lining and white water rafting - these last two are booked and paid for locally with the supplier and not through Balaton SUP.

After a two year adventure into Somerset life I’m excited to have found my way back home, to Sussex!

We’ve been busy settling back into Sussex life and redecorating our new home in Lancing - our new basecamp 🏡

And of course - getting back on the water! Here’s a few snippets of my re-intro to Sussex paddle life 🤟🏼

I’m excited for this next chapter of life in Lancing.

I’m not sure what my plans are for SUP & Soul yet - need to renew my quals but if you’re in the area and fancy a social paddle let me know. It’d be so wonderful to paddle with friends again 🥳

Eek so excited - my copy has just arrived!!

I saw this book mentioned by a fellow water enthusiast (but sadly I can’t remember who now!!) and knew I simply had to devour it for myself 🩵

Can’t wait to get stuck in…I shall have to find a lil beachfront, tuck myself up under a duvet with the door wide open and settle down for a day in the van with the waves rolling in while I read mmmmmmm lush 🌊

New paddle location found in beautiful staying at in - a lovely campsite complete with its own launch site for river and Poole harbour paddles.

Thanks to and for a superb weekend on the water plus thunderstorms, Jurassic coast cliff side walks, freshly picked blackberries, BBQ & bubbles 🍾

After a last minute change of plan to avoid the boisterous sea conditions at Charmouth we popped over to Bridport for a pootle down river to West Bay to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine ☀️

Always nice to be introduced to somewhere new by someone who knows the area and to meet lovely fellow paddlers 🏄🏽‍♀️

Thanks to the I’ve been able to take SUP & Soul to new heights…turquoise fueled countryside heights! With so many gorgeous country rides right on my doorstep it would be rude not to! So today I popped out for my first solo lunchtime ride to get some practice in.

I’ve been following the journey of two incredible women and who have unknowingly encouraged me to get out there and swap the SUP for a bike to explore our new surroundings on wheels. And I L🛞VE it!! 🚴🏽‍♀️🌳🌾☀️

(My bum not so much but I’m sure it’ll acclimatize soon enough 🤣)

A weekend of outdoor mini adventures both solo and with my partner in adventure. This is what my soul cries for at the end of a hard week at work - loving Strava’s new video feature too, shame they’re not shareable though.

First time practicing with my bowls outside immersed in nature with the accompanying birds, bees, bugs and even a lizard!

I’m tempted to host a SUP & Soul Somerset (maybe Sussex too!) social paddle followed by a floating sound bath. If you’re interested, intrigued and up for it drop me a message.

Nothing fills my cup more than a morning on the water shared with the enthusiastic smiles and sheer joy of newby paddlers, blue skies, hot air balloons, the sun shining and the splish splash splash of the paddle…especially after what feel like an eternity of rain and cloud cover. Thanks Lou and Steve for being so much fun and sharing these blue mind moments with me 💙
