I’m heading out for a paddle boarding mini break/holiday in Slovenia with a good friend of mine who hosts trips all over the world.
Due to a last minute cancellation we have a space available on our women only Slovenia SUP trip from 10-14 Sep 2025.
The trip is hosted and organised by the wonderful soul, Edina of Balatonsup fame.
At the moment we are a group of 6 super lovely, fun, adventurous and welcoming women (mostly English with a Welsh, Norwegian and Hungarian mixed in for good measure!) are you our 7th Wonder Woman?
Between us we have a range of SUP abilities from newly introduced to very experienced - this won’t be hardcore paddling holiday, more soaking it all up and enjoying gentle paddling (and other activities) with the option to go harder if so desired.
We don’t all know each other (yet!!) - so you won’t be joining an existing group of friends which can sometimes feel intimidating. I am the connector who has brought the group together - so I’m confident everyone will click beautifully.
If you’re keen but don’t want to come along there is space for 2 people to join us - it’d be same price per person regardless.
The price includes 4 nights and 5 days of paddling with hotel, SUP boards + all SUP kit, local transport, breakfast and some meals and is just £650 (this price excludes international travel/flights). Much cheaper than a lot of other SUP travel operators!!
I met Edina on my SUP Instructor course in 2018 and we have been firm friends ever since. We’ve paddled together in Portugal, Israel and more recently in Norway - she’s a very special and beautiful soul and I can’t wait to experience Slovenia with her in Sep.
Edina has been hosting worldwide paddle trips ever since we qualified together in 2018 and she has been hosting this Slovenia trip since 2019 so she’s super knowledgeable about our location and itinerary!
We’ll also be enjoying hikes, optional zip lining and white water rafting - these last two are booked and paid for locally with the supplier and not through Balaton SUP.
