Running medical organizations is tough business. But even more reason to ensure they are open to change as needed. Kaiser is Not.
1. The institution has no way of listening.
Bureaucrats hide behind formal procedures, form letters, and do not follow up with any plan to action.
Kaiser IT system is a prime example. It gets worse everyday
2. Tends to repeat same error many times
It shouldn't be possible to get 4 defective Foley in a row! What does this say about more critical components like heart valves? Should one trust anything Kaiser installs? Probably not. Especially when an RN hides poor workmanship on a Foley install, shame on you.
Solution is to watch Kaiser like a hawk inform regulators of defects
