Today my beautiful mom "Forouzandeh Arbabi" transitioned. She touched people's heart with her grace and love. She held a high standard of growth and integrity for me and I am forever grateful for all that she thought me. She was the symbol of love and service to humanity. May her beautiful voice resonate into the fabric of all of our hearts forever💓

Define Me

You, yes you, do you know who you really are? In our life, most of our behavior and actions are heavily influenced by our surroundings, whether it is the norms or the family rules, etc. Thus we usually act according to what is acceptable in our society. This habit has become automatic for us, when we encounter an option in life we immediately think of the most acceptable or easy solution so we feel accepted in the society and normal.

The way we lives, has make us think less and less about what we are doing. Most of the time if we see that it is ok for others to do it then it is ok for us. For example do you know why people smoke? They know its bad and the fact is everywhere but they just keep doing it. This is what I call “drifting”, which is a routine that pleased the body as long as it is acceptable in the society and many people are doing it, its fine. Another example is alcoholic; eating unhealthy food, consume too much soda or coffee, etc.

In brief, if we want to define our self by doing only what we want to do, we have to become more aware of our choices during the day and we must remember what motivate us to change in order to give us will power we need to resist the temptation. By often reading what we wrote on this app will get us out from the drifting mode, because we shape our choice/decision based on our goals not on what is acceptable in the society. Hence we can check the apps as often as we want or just once a day, its all based on your judgment, if during the day you are aware of your decision and it is what you want, then you can check it less often.

There are 4 main question that can help you define your self, first is identify what do you want to do or change. Second, if you are trying to build a new routine correlate it with a habit that can help you remember to do what you want to do. If its an existing routine, then you must find the trigger why you do what you do, once you find the trigger, think of some other routine to replace the bad routine, this is the third question. And lastly is always remember our cause in the first place, this will motivate you to keep going in the right direction.

Define Me is a very simple app that you helps you remembering your goals in defining your self. This app does not have a reminder or deadline for accomplishing goal. We believe that if you really want to change, you will notice when you are in drifting mode and open this app to get you back on track.

Define me will help you shape your mind with the value you wrote. Keep reading it everyday and soon it will become you habits. Remember bad habit arises because of the mind (lack of thinking or keep thinking about it all the time) and if we transform our mind the bad habit cannot remain.
