"Acelity/Servant’s Heart Foundation board members visited our oncology clinic and hospital today to tour the Tracy's Kids Art Therapy program. The foundation provided an art supply donation and awarded the Tracy’s Kids program with the Carole Lanham Award that recognizes organizations who have excelled in improving patient lives by providing holistic support. We are thankful for these wonderful organizations this holiday season!”

On Monday morning, September 18, at 6:44 and 8:44 AM, Dr. Adam Bingaman, will be featured on Texas Public Radio Lifeline with Wendy Rigby, Bioscience-Medicine Reporter for KSTX (89.1 FM). Dr. Bingaman is the Director of Abdominal Transplant Surgery at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital and has been the driving force behind its Kidney Transplant program's success in matching donors in paired exchanges. Since 2009, this program has performed more live donor kidney transplants than any other, and in 2016, it completed the most performed in any single year.

– In late 2011, Texas Transplant Institute performed the largest single-center paired kidney exchange transplant chain in the world. The 16 transplant procedures were part of the kidney paired donation (KPD) program at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital. - Vicky Wright watched a Donate-Life Illinois YouTube video and was so inspired by the woman it featured that she posted it on her Facebook where she had mentioned that she needed a kidney transplant. Minutes after posting the video, a woman Vicky had never met from Alabama offered to donate her kidney.
