Interesting fact! When faced with a toothache, never use a heating pad, hot water bottle or any other source of heat on your jaw. Heat will make things worse instead of better. Do you consider a chipped tooth to be a dental emergency? Yes or no? Answer: Some chipped teeth do require urgent care. A large chip may require a root canal or a crown in order to restore the tooth. Smaller chips, on the other hand, are not as urgent and may be repaired with a filling.
