Fact or Fiction, those with egg allergies can’t get the flu shot?

Fiction!

It can be safe for most people with egg allergies to get the flu shot! While the vaccine may contain trace amounts of egg protein, studies show that it can be well-tolerated, even for those with egg allergies. Always check with your doctor. There are egg-free vaccines available if egg-containing ones can’t be tolerated.
