Mental Health effects everyone throughout the life span. It does not discriminate and impacts us all.

So I’m sharing a free resource here and some research based facts pertaining to the benefits of implementing mindfulness and integrative medicine practices into your life.

Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) is just one method that provides natural evidenced-based breath-centered practices to quickly relieve and better manage stress, anxiety and trauma in adults and children.

Research shows us that mindfulness and other integrative medicine practices like BBM can transform and improve health in several ways such as:

1) Cognitive Benefits: Mental clarity and focus improve. Your brain may be better protected from declines due to aging and stress. And you may experience a boost in creative abilities.

2) Heath Benefits: Your heart-health may improve. Cellular aging may be slowed down. Immune function may improve. You may experience decreased blood pressure.

3) Mental Health (MH) Benefits: MH treatment is enhanced by mediation training. It increases serotonin. Your mood may improve. Anxiety and depression may decrease. And if persistently suicidal, a person may develop a decrease in suicidal thoughts.

4) Work Place Benefits: Self-confidence and leadership may improve. You may have improved self-esteem, with decreased bias. Improved employee recovery from work-related stress, and higher engagement with work tasks and performance. Reduces Workplace Burnout.

5) Sleep Benefits: Sleep may improve by evoking the relaxation response at night when you can't sleep. It activates parts of the brain that control sleep. And it naturally increases melatonin (the sleep hormone).

6) Addiction and/or Co-Occurring Disorder Benefits: Effective for Addiction in increasing a person’s awareness of emotions and thoughts, essentially reducing cravings that can often trigger a relapse. And mindfulness limits experiential avoidance and enhances non-judgmental acceptance.

7) ADHD Benefits: Mindfulness thickens your prefrontal cortex, a part of your brain that's involved in focus, planning, and impulse control. You may see improved focus and attention. Your mind may wander less. You may have a reduction in multiple thoughts all at once.

You can join these virtual sessions from work, at home, or any comfortable location. They help reduce stress, give your body a chance to reset, and better prepare you for whatever your day may bring.
