The unsung heroes of the hospice team are our dedicated Hospice Aides. They often go unnoticed, yet they are fundamental in delivering crucial care and education to patients, their families, and cherished loved ones. Hospice aides are the primary providers of hands-on care, assisting with essential daily tasks. This includes everything from helping patients with bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene to offering comforting companionship. They also engage in activities such as painting nails, accompanying patients on walks, enjoying the outdoors, or playing games. Our hospice aides have consistently received high praise for their ability to maintain a patient's dignity and modesty while providing the necessary care with compassion and skill.
