Lunch today- the keto pizza. Base is made mostly of almond and cashew nuts, topping is gruyere, grilled pepper, artichoke, rocket, sundried tomatoes and olives. Slight variation on the Ketogenic Kitchen's recipe- very tasty and filling. Kind of reminds me of a pizza...probably nicer!

Look out for my video blog on the ketogenic diet which starts shortly. I'm trying it out as an experiment to see how suitable it would be for different clients. It takes a fair bit of preparation, and anyone thinking of doing it should get their bloods tested first, and also make sure you don't have a condition for which it's contra-indicated. If you would like to know more about it but don't feel like trying it yet, listen in to my video for the good, the bad and the ugly about the ketogenic diet and how it's working for me (I'm hoping to lose a few stubborn pounds, but I'm also interested in some of the other promised benefits, greater mental clarity, more energy, improved insulin sensitivity, improved gut microbiome and reduced inflammation).

And here's my own pea soup- pretty tasty and nutritious. Disappearing fast...very easy to make- fry diced onion, carrot, celery, add stock, water and bag of peas, simmer for 10 mins, add a handful of fresh mint and blitz. Done. Yum.
