Rachel received her nursing degree through the University of South Dakota and completed her Masters of Science degree in Nursing through Walden University. Rachel brings over 14 years of nursing experience in a variety of specialties including primary care, oncology, and home health. Rachel takes pride in her nurse background and works collaboratively with patients in developing healthy lifestyle choices. She uses a patient-centered approach for disease prevention, diagnosis, and management.

On this day, in 2010, the First Youth Olympics were held. These games were organized by the International Olympic Committee and took place in Singapore.
The Youth Olympics are held every 4 years and have both summer and winter versions.
The first Winter Youth Olympics were held in Innsbruck, Austria in January 2012.
Only athletes aged 14 to 18 years are allowed to participate as the goal is to promote the youth!
