Israel Ackerman, M.D. is a fellowship-trained and board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Ackerman attended Northwell Health/ Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital for residency and completed his fellowship training at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern in Cornea, External Disease, and Keratorefractive Surgery, solidifying his expertise in treating complex eye conditions.
Dr. Ackerman offers a comprehensive range of services to his patients. He is proficient in performing advanced vision correction procedures, such as LASIK and PRK, allowing patients to achieve clear vision without the need for glasses or contacts.
