VJ Memorial Dart Shoot For Suicide Awareness - Philly

We will have many kinds of raffles taking place this Saturday, April 21, at the VJ Memorial Dart Shoot for Su***de Awareness! Proceeds will go to two deserving organizations that help with mental health, su***de and much more. NAMI Philadelphia (National Alliance for Mental Illness & The Philly Vet Center (a veterans org giving free counseling to our local veterans and their families) Vet Centers .

Today we want to thank a handful of bars/restaurants that have donated gift cards (we will be announcing another group tomorrow). These gift cards will be paired into baskets with bottles of cheer! Each basket will be a minimum value of $120.

Who is getting excited? Just 24 more days until our fundraiser event!

We want to thank the Philadelphia Eagles for donating two signed autographed photos! One is of #90 Defensive Tackle Jordan Davis, who was selected as the #13 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft! The other is of #89 Tight End Jack Stoll, who was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2021 NFL Draft.

We can't wait until April 22! We'll have some raffles & auctions on some special items that have been donated for a worthy cause, to help us raise money towards Mental Health!

We want to thank the Philadelphia Sixers for their donations!

We have an autographed basketball by Joel Embiid & one signed by James Harden!

We'll also have a few books autographed by Assistant Coach Kevin Eastman, who coached along side Coach Doc Rivers when the Boston Celtics won the NBA Championship in 2008! His books talks about 25 Powerful Words that Impacts, Inspires & Defines Champions!

Kevin Eastman had a long life regarding basketball! He was an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics with coach Doc Rivers and then an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers. He was also the head coach of the men's Washington State University basketball team from '94 to '99 and head coach of UNC Wilmington from '90 to '94. He also went to Haddonfield high school in NJ. He retired from coaching in 2016.
